Norfolk Invest to Save Project, Waste Colletion and Disposal

A year long project for Mott MacDonald, funded jointly by DETR and the Norfolk County Council to investigate options for managing long term collection and disposal contracts under a single service.

A key aspect of the work was to investigate whether efficiency savings could be realised in restructuring collection and disposal contracts.

If successful, the aim was to implement the framework proposed across other UK Counties.
