For Arsenal Football Club, Mott MacDonald developed the
conceptual design for an 1100 tonnes per day compaction waste
transfer facility and household waste recycling centre. The site is
to replace Ashburton Grove Transfer Facility, the site of which has
been redeveloped as Arsenal FC's new stadium.
Work included provision of waste management consultancy advice to
the client throughout the development of the design and through to
commissioning. It also included the preparation of waste licence
applications and working plans for the facilities. It also included
applications for surrender of the existing licences.

equipment specification purchase, installation, commissioing and
operation.
