For Norfolk County Council, Mott MacDonald developed
the conceptual and detailed designs for a new split level household
waste recycling centre (HWRC) in King's Lynn to cater for a
predicted 10,000 tonnes per annum throughput.

projectThe site is to replace an existing recycling
facility, the site of which is being redeveloped. Work included
provision of detailed design and submission of a detaled planning
application, including engineering assessment and traffic
modelling. It also included the preparation of waste licence
applications and applications for surrender of the existing
licences.
