We have been involved in supervising the construction of
numerous major engineering projects throughout the UK , Europe and
the rest of the world and have a team of full-time designated
resident engineers. We have also helped develop the strategy and
policy for these construction projects. And we bring the benefit of
all this expertise to the waste management sector.
Engineers on site during the construction phase are able to
effectively co-ordinate activities and take responsibility for all
aspects of the development, from overseeing contaminated land
investigations, remediation measures and the construction process,
through to commissioning and maintenance. Resident engineering
staff, supported by office-based technical specialists, provide a
point of contact familiar with all aspects of the site work to
facilitate the smooth running of the construction process.
We will be on hand to supervise commissioning, performance and
acceptance testing and plant hand-over.
We are committed to the transfer of training and management skills
to sustain the benefits of our clients' investments for future
generations.
Mott MacDonald also offers training and back up to assist operators
with the development of environmental management plans and
implementation of Environmental Management Systems. This includes
practical measures to maximise the efficient and sustainable use of
resources.
